Phase:
Scoring will be “rhythmic”
This suggests a phase. The ship is phasing in and out of material existence. The phase frequency will probably be a function of your character’s heartbeat. The amplitude will depend on your energy. The more energy you have, the more extreme the phase switch.
At maximum positive, the ship is totally solid.
Scoring timed to the phase is multiplied by Accuracy in timing.
Errr, I wrote an entire concept for a rhythmic scoring based game.
Remember we once wanted to make a game where the audio was the driving force ?
But it maybe too much of a departure from your current direction.
I’m not sure I’ll end up using rhythmic scoring for Chimera, we’ll see. I think the energy/environment thing works better for this one.
